Studio
The Oxfordshire landscape has been the backdrop for my studio for forty years; my home in the Cotswolds is the setting for my creative space.

A room devoted to my textile work, displays the tools and materials of my craft with the sources of inspiration: modern sewing-machines mingle with vintage equipment e.g. Wilcox & Gibbs 1895 chain stitch machine, iconic images of 60s Vogue covers decorate the walls, alongside fashion and botanical sketches, a 50s cane mannequin creates a stylish shape, 20s hats and fashion plates inspire embellishment ideas.

A new painting studio, converted from an 18th century stable, is the focus of my botanical paintings and design, the immediate vista of the flower garden naturally influences artistic creations - garden passions fuse with embroidered textiles.
