Seventies Style
by Dominic Lutyens & Kirsty Hislop

Sue Rangeley's work is included in this book on 1970s art, architecture, fashion and design. The book includes information on many of the influential designers and artists of the era, including Barbara Hulanicki, Zandra Rhodes, Andrew Logan, Terence Conran, and Bill Gibb. The 70s craft scene is extensively covered, and Sue's fashion embroidery from that time is illustrated in the book.

(My career in embroidered textiles was launched in the late 70s: in 1976 I took a picnic basket full of samples to Vogue magazine; met the designer Bill Gibb, and created my first collection of quilted, appliquéd jackets for his Spring/Summer 1977 Collection).
