Botanical paintings
Plant passions infuse the spirit of Sue's botanical paintings, inspired by her garden and the surrounding countryside. An eye for detail explores the intricacy of plant forms through detailed drawings; delicate tints of iridescent washes express Nature's transient beauty.
Commissions for paintings have included flower favourites: Sweet Peas (above centre), Roses, Hellebores, Tulips, Clematis.
'Weeds & Wild Flowers' (above left) was a theme of a recent exhibition.

The Botanical Paintings are created on watercolour paper, using the mediums of iridescent acrylics and watercolour washes; pencil and aquarelle crayons.
Works are framed, with conservation mounts, or available unframed.
